Macadamia Nut Ice Cream (9 servings - 1/2 cup each)
Ingredients for Macadamia Nut Ice Cream
- 5 egg yolks
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ½ teaspoons rum
- 2 tablespoons equivalents sugar substitute
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
- 2 cup heavy cream, whipped
Preparation Method for Macadamia Nut Ice Cream
1. Place yolks, vanilla extract, rum, sugar substitute and water in blender.
2. Blend at medium speed for 30 seconds. Fold yolk mixture and chopped nuts into whipped cream.
3. Pour into refrigerator tray. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
